Plus, she gets to learn another language. I wouldn't hesitate. <br /><br />I'm surprised that you are finding few Germans speaking English. I thought the majority of people tried to speak English to us. Of course, age and education level was a difference. Generally, I would speak in my horrid German and they would either respond in English or find someone who could. <br /><br />Moving stinks. It makes me cranky, so it would definitely make kids cranky and tantrumy.
