Yesterday, she did stay in her room, sitting in a poopy diaper (she still wears diapers for sleeping.) I could hear her in their playing. On those days, she often doesn't seem any worse off than if she'd actually napped. But, without the quiet time, it's bad news all around.Angiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11142817054375318711noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4746374382530887082.post-34563366311409106072008-03-13T08:02:00.000+00:002008-03-13T08:02:00.000+00:00Yeah, you kind of summed it up, Holly. The days that become "rest" days, become nightmare evenings and I just haven't figured out what to do about them. I guess my post could have been MUCH shorter. Ugh, I always ramble. I doubt I'll figure it out, though. She's probably transitioning into how I used to nap. I had to lay down for an hour and read. Most days I fell asleep. Some days I didn't and on those days everyone would have to tread lightly around me until I went to bed.Nataliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02491605584777030663noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4746374382530887082.post-79527866720007440152008-03-13T02:58:00.000+00:002008-03-13T02:58:00.000+00:00All I can say is ... Nap and sleep issues are the bane of my existence!

Daniel (4) still takes daily naps most days, mostly, I think, b/c he and Mikey share a room and Mikey wakes him up earlier than he would like. They both go to bed 8-9pm and wake up around 7am. Then, usually a 2 hour afternoon nap. If Daniel doesn't sleep, he has a "rest time" in his room with a book for at least an hour (but he usually falls asleep for that). He does do better if he goes down for nap a little later, like 2 or 3pm.

Good luck! If you get it all figured out, let me know!!The Dunnshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07176631352190176669noreply@blogger.com
