It's All Happening At the Zoo

After spending most of Saturday morning and early afternoon at the grocery store and IKEA, we thought the girls needed a day at the zoo. It had been more than a year since Olivia had been to a zoo and we wanted Lila to meet some of the animals Olivia talks about so often.

So, Sunday morning we got up bright and early and arrived at the zoo within a half hour of its' opening. A real accomplishment for our family!

First off, we hit the dolphin show. The first twenty minutes of the show were all about the sea lions and Olivia was thrilled. Sea Lion did the Tango with his trainer and even Lila was interested in looking on!

Then, we spent the rest of our time wandering around feeding giraffes, petting rabbits, goats and looking for the gorillas. It was a great time had by all!
