The day after we moved into our home in Wiesloch, Germany, Matt deployed to Iraq. Surprisingly, everything went well while he was away. The girls started German Kindergarten, ballet/tap classes, gymnastics (Lila) and swimming lessons (Olivia). I took a day trip into France with friends and the girls and I embarked on a weekend trip to Belgium. I took three college classes (online) and somehow managed to keep it all together.
After four and a half months, we are so happy to have him back home! We hope to not see another deployment in our near future!
